Finally.. a good ending for Jumper

Finally Jumper gets to go to his new home today…

We depart early by 9.30am & after much unnecessary ‘tour’ arrived almost 11am. Waited for half an hour, made the payment before we finally called to the ward.

There meeting Dr.Goh for the 1st time and of course our Jumper who is sitting in his cage. I said Hello and he looked at me with sad eyes that I have not seen before.

Dr.Goh picked him up and start to show us his injury which is healing well and the wire they insert to keep his jaw together. Then she starts to explain the report with regards to his kidney condition & showed us how to insert the fluid into his body once a week. He is in Stage 2 Kidney problem, though it will not heal but with proper low salt diet we can prolong before he goes to Stage 3 for years to come. He has very good appetite so doctor is positive he will do well.

When the time to go, we held the carrier on the end of the table talking of ways to coax or carry him into it. While Dr.Goh was talking & holding him, he suddenly turn his head towards the carrier, stands and walks right into the carrier. We were amazed him being so easy to take care off! Dr.Goh also said he is very good boy & loves to walk around once given chance.

Jumper journey to his new home was without story, we heard his 1st meow when we drive away. Suggest to turn his carrier to face front, his eyes (could also due to pain killer still in effect) wanders outside looking. Turning his head left and right as if wandering what he is seeing for the 1st time. He is still calm & was quiet all the way home. He is definitely an amazing cat!

After briefly getting use to his new temporary home, he even softly meow indicating he needs to pee! I find that very interesting as some cats will just pee in the carrier. Last update, he is even watching tv with his Godfather!

Total cost for Jumper was $888.85 and $776 after discount. The total donation received was $1058!! The extra $200 will be used for his follow up check next 2 weeks again, his ‘fluid’ injection & to help with his special diet food.

Thanks to Dr.Lim & Dr.Goh who treated him, Jumper has a chance to have a loving family & become the great example of giving a stray animal a 2nd chance of living and a loving home.

Thank you to all Jumper’s medical fund donors for making it possible to give him all this treatment. Thanks to all who helped me shared in FB, RT in Twitter and using social media for good cause. May God bless & repay you for your good deeds.

Thank you to all who helped Jumper directly & indirectly, on behalf of Jumper and also my sister who rescued him earlier. Though we can’t adopt him but he found a Godfather now, so all good!s

Finally, give a chance to stray! Adopt & not buy cat from the pet shop. They have much love to offer you!

Visit FB or Twitter @thebronxstudio for future updates on him. Live long & live happily Jumper!
